1) About Mawaaid & Agreement
Mawaaid (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a SaaS platform operated by HZED (individual entrepreneur). We provide software that helps people and business owners discover professionals and book appointments, and gives professionals simple scheduling and subscription tools. By using Mawaaid, you agree to these Terms.
Mawaaid is open to any appointment-based business, without exclusions. We are a software company; we do not provide the professional services listed on the platform.
2) Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable to contract under applicable law.
- Provide accurate information, safeguard your credentials, and notify us of suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the sign-up page (Wrong category) or from your profile when signed in. We may retain minimal records as required by law (e.g., billing).
- We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts to protect users, comply with law, or preserve platform integrity.
- Professionals, assistants, and employees must accept these Terms on first sign-in (click-wrap). If they do not agree, they may not use the platform. We may require re-acceptance after material updates.
3) Platform Role & No Advice
- We are not a party to the contract between a user and a professional and do not provide medical, legal, or other professional advice.
- Professionals are independent and solely responsible for their licenses, permits, compliance, quality, availability, pricing, and taxes.
- We do not verify that a professional is truly licensed or qualified. The platform is open; representations are the professional’s responsibility.
3.A) No medical services or records
Mawaaid is not a healthcare provider and does not offer medical services or medical advice. You must not use Mawaaid to store, transmit, or process medical records or health information about any person (including in Notes, files, or chat). If you nevertheless choose to upload or enter any health data, you confirm you are solely responsible for having a lawful basis and all required consents, and you agree that Mawaaid and HZED are not responsible for that content, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4) Bookings, Cancellations & No-Shows
- Users and professionals may cancel at any time. The platform may apply technical measures to reduce abuse.
- Professionals may ban a user from booking with them. This action is not reversible.
- If a user does not show up or there is a dispute, it is settled directly between the user and the professional. The service is not a party to such disputes.
5) Reviews & User Content
Reviews and content must be lawful, accurate, and non-harmful. Illegal, defamatory, or abusive content may entail legal consequences under applicable law. We may remove or restrict content and/or accounts where credible issues are identified.
6) Professionals: Compliance & Responsibility
- Professionals must ensure their profiles are truthful and up to date, and that they hold all required licenses/permits. They are responsible for their actions and representations before the law.
- Professionals and users may share files in line with the features of their active plan. Files uploaded through the service are not public and remain until the Professional deletes them or the Professional’s account is closed, unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve an active case.
- We may request evidence of credentials and may unpublish or suspend profiles if we detect issues.
- Professionals may create staff or assistant accounts linked to their profile. You are solely responsible for all actions taken by your staff/assistants on Mawaaid (including bookings, messages, files, cancellations, edits) and for their compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You must grant appropriate permissions, supervise their use, and promptly revoke access when someone leaves your business. You are liable for any fees, content, and consequences arising from staff/assistant actions as if they were your own. You must ensure each staff/assistant accepts these Terms before using the platform.
6.A) Professional Notes & assistant access
Notes are created and controlled by the Professional. By enabling assistant access from the dashboard, the Professional authorizes the assistant to view and/or edit Notes and accepts full responsibility for the assistant’s actions. Mawaaid does not select or supervise assistants and has no responsibility for what assistants do inside the Professional’s account, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6.B) Files & chat responsibility
Users and Professionals are responsible for the content they share through files or chat. Do not share sensitive identifiers (e.g., full card numbers, national IDs) or medical records. Mawaaid may remove or restrict content and/or accounts upon credible notice.
7) Subscriptions, Billing & Trials (Pros)
- Billing cycle: every 30 days. Currency: USD. Prices and taxes (if any) are shown at checkout.
- Free trial: 30 days (one per professional). Misuse may end a trial early.
- No refunds once a billing period starts. If you cancel and still have unpaid fees, they will be credited against charges at the end of the current billing month. During a free trial, no credits are applied.
- Plan changes (upgrade/downgrade) may use proration per the payment provider’s rules.
- Non-payment: if an invoice remains unpaid, after 5 days your professional dashboard and any employee accounts will be suspended. Your basic user account remains accessible.
- Taxes: professionals are responsible for their own taxes. We reserve the right to add VAT/TVA in the future; continued use constitutes agreement.
Records: We may retain billing/ledger data for legally required periods.
8) Referral Program
- Referred professional: 50% off their first paid month.
- Referrer professional: 25% off the next payable invoice, applied automatically as a coupon. No cash value, no transfers.
- Automation & cap: rewards are applied automatically, up to 36 successful referrals per referrer.
- Anti-fraud: we may deny or revoke rewards in case of suspected abuse, fraud, or policy violations, and may modify or end the program.
9) Acceptable Use
- Prohibited Activities & Listings. Mawaaid may not be used to advertise, book, facilitate, or otherwise support activities that are unlawful, unsafe, exploitative, or that require licenses/permits the professional does not hold. This includes (without limitation): services that violate Lebanese law or the law of the user’s/professional’s location; activities that risk harm to people or property; misleading or fraudulent listings; and any service that is regulated without proof of the required authorization. We may request evidence of eligibility and remove content that we reasonably believe violates this clause.
- No illegal content, harassment, threats, or hate speech.
- No misuse of personal data or violation of privacy laws.
- No scraping, bulk harvesting, reverse engineering, or attempts to bypass security.
- No spam, platform interference, or abusive booking patterns. We may ban users or professionals to protect others and comply with law.
- Chat (short rule). Use chat only for appointment logistics; don’t share highly sensitive data. See Acceptable use of Chat, Files, and Notes.
- Shared files (short rule). Use files only for non-sensitive logistics documents; we may scan for malware/abuse. See Acceptable use of Chat, Files, and Notes.
- — No uploading or processing of medical records/health data about any person, including via Notes, files, or chat.
Enforcement. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts; remove profiles or listings; and apply technical limits where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms or applicable law, or a risk to user safety or platform integrity. We may preserve and disclose relevant information to competent authorities when legally required or to protect rights and safety. We may suspend or remove your listings/account if you fail to timely provide proof of required licenses/permits or other compliance documents when requested.
Disputes & moderation
Mawaaid is a venue only. We do not arbitrate or mediate private disputes between users and professionals. We may, at our discretion, act on clear violations of our policies (e.g., suspend or terminate accounts, remove illegal or abusive content) or respond to lawful requests from authorities, but we are not a party to your contracts or disagreements.
9.A) Notice & Takedown
Upon credible notice that content may be unlawful, infringe rights, or pose material risk, Mawaaid may (in its reasonable discretion) restrict or remove the content and/or suspend access while the issue is assessed, and will act in good faith to handle notices and any counter-notices.
9.B) Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation. Professionals are solely responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to their services, including any licenses, permits, registrations, or professional qualifications required by the competent authorities. Upon our reasonable request—or upon request from a competent authority routed to us—you agree to promptly provide accurate and up-to-date evidence of such compliance (e.g., copies of licenses/permits). Mawaaid and HZED are not responsible for verifying your legal eligibility to offer services. Failure to provide satisfactory documentation, or any indication of non-compliance, may result in refusal, suspension, or removal of listings and/or account termination.
Acceptable use of Chat, Files, and Notes
- Chat is for appointment logistics only. Do not send passwords, full payment card numbers, national IDs, medical diagnoses, or other sensitive data not necessary for scheduling.
- Files must be lawful and safe. We scan for malware. Do not upload illegal content or materials infringing others’ rights.
- Notes are controlled by Professionals and are not a medical record system. Professionals are responsible for having a lawful basis for any personal data they enter, including any assistant access they enable.
- Security: messages and files are encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. This is not end-to-end encryption because the controller (site owner) can access content strictly for safety, abuse handling, and compliance. No staff access.

10) Intellectual Property
- The Mawaaid platform (software, design, branding) is owned by HZED or its licensors. You may not copy or create derivative works without permission.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to host and display content you submit (e.g., profile text/images) solely to operate and improve the service.
- Upload only content you have rights to; do not infringe third-party IP.
11) Third-Party Services
Some features rely on third parties (e.g., hosting by Google Cloud, payments by Stripe, email/SMS by SendGrid/Twilio, and mapping providers such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, or OpenStreetMap when you open a professional’s map link). Their terms and privacy policies may apply to you.
12) Disclaimers & Liability
- The service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or acts/omissions of professionals or users.
- Liability cap: Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. This cap does not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Security best efforts
We apply reasonable and proportionate security measures and periodically test our security; however, no online service is 100% secure. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mawaaid is not liable for harms caused by (i) content uploaded by Users or Professionals, or (ii) assistants acting under a Professional’s authorization. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (including for fraud or willful misconduct).
13) Governing Law, Venue & Language
- Governing law: Lebanon.
- Venue: Courts of Beirut for non-EU users. EU consumers retain mandatory protections under their local law and may bring claims where required by that law.
- Controlling language: If translations differ, the Arabic version prevails.
Amicable resolution first: please contact us through the contact form before initiating proceedings.
These Terms are governed by Lebanese law. Mandatory consumer/data-protection rights under the law of your habitual residence (e.g., EU/EEA/UK) continue to apply and prevail where required by law.
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we aim to give 15 days’ notice when feasible. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms, and we may require click-through re-acceptance on first sign-in after an update.
15) Miscellaneous
- Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold Mawaaid and HZED harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms or law, (b) your listings, content, or services, or (c) your misuse of the platform.
- Severability: if a clause is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
- Assignment: you may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign as allowed by law.
- Survival: IP, payments due, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute clauses survive termination.
